About South Central London

As a church, we feel that God has called us to impact a large area in London. This region that we have affectionately got to know as ‘South Central London’ covers the bottom half of the boroughs of Southwark and Lambeth, and numbers well over 300,000 people.

Some Facts:

The boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark have the highest percentage of people aged between 20 and 35 years in the UK, well above the national average.

The combined total population of these 2 boroughs is 0.5 million (the equivalent of Liverpool).

It is a very multi-cultural population. 25% of the population were born outside of the UK and 10% of the population of Streatham is Muslim.

Main Transport Links:

Northern Line - Brixton

Mainline stations to London Bridge and Victoria – Streatham Hill, West Norwood, Herne Hill, Tulse Hill, West Dulwich and North Dulwich.

Easy access to central London, Croydon and Clapham by bus and road.
